Zeitgeist’s 2025–2026 season invites audiences across Minnesota and beyond into a world of musical abundance—where innovation, collaboration, and community converge. From outdoor performances in vibrant natural settings to bold new premieres, Zeitgeist continues its mission of shaping the musical landscape through adventurous programming and deep engagement in friendly community settings. This season, discover new works, hear new voices, and experience how music can deepen our connection to each other and the world around us.
Festival at the Farm
September 12 & 13 • Barringer Family Farms Back for its fourth year! Zeitgeist and Barringer Family Farms present a festival of music inspired by the food we grow and the communities that nourish us. New works by Heather Barringer, A.J. Isaacson-Zvidzwa, and Nick Gaudette.
Zeitgeist and Quince!
October 12 • The Anderson Center Zeitgeist and the treble vocal ensemble, Quince, will share the stage in a performance featuring music from throughout the country. Program will include works by Wisconsin composer Brent Michael Davids (Stockbridge Munsee Mohican), David Lang (NYC), Carrie Henneman Shaw (WA), Gilda Lyons (CT), Kari Besharse (LA), and Ravi Kittappa (OR).
Underwater Cousins

Solstice at the Center
December 19 • The Anderson Center, Red Wing Welcome the season with a musical ritual and warming food at the second annual Solstice at the Center event. This new winter tradition is co-presented by Anderson Center and Zeitgeist. The Anderson Center Residency Chef will serve a three-course meal featuring South Asian flavors. Gather in the Tower View barn to enjoy an appetizer and plated entrée. The meal will be followed by a participatory performance by Zeitgeist as we recognize the shortest days of the year. We’ll end the evening with a special dessert. Tickets and more information here
