Anderson Center Sculpture Garden
Established in 1996 by the Anderson Center—with support from the Red Wing Environmental Learning Center and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources—the Anderson Center Sculpture Garden spans 15 acres, making it one of the largest of its kind in Minnesota. The garden showcases more than 30 sculptures by renowned national and international artists, such as Charles Biederman, Siah Armajani, and Zoran Mojsilov. Designed as both a cultural and ecological destination, the space features mesic prairie landscapes, panoramic views of the Cannon River valley, and amenities like benches, picnic spots, and interpretive signage. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful environment that honors the region’s original ecosystem while engaging with significant works of contemporary art. Pictured is the sculpture Physical Tension (2003) by Megan Madland. Performance will be on an a field next to the park. Park in the Sculpture park parking lot. |
