Zeitgeist, along with composer Ben Houge, is developing the Saint Paul Food Opera. In collaboration with five St. Paul chefs, Houge will create five musical works for Zeitgeist designed to partner with a course or dish prepared by each chef in the spring of 2016.
Zeitgeist is joined by veena virtuoso Nirmala Rajasekar and mridangam player Thanjavur Murugaboopathi for a production that blends music from the Western classical tradition with Indian classical music (Carnatic tradition).
