Zeitgeist and Barringer Family Farms present a weekend of theater, music, and food celebrating our natural world and life in the country. Join us for performances, and come early or stay late to walk the grounds, say hi to the chickens, and chat with our artists and farmers.
Sounding Ground Composer Showcase

Join Zeitgeist and Sounding Ground artists  Jay Afrisando, Jarrelle Barton, AJ Isaacson-Zvidzwa,  Soomin Kim, Jonathan Posthuma, and Sara Pajunen for a first listen to the new works they have developed during their Sounding Ground residency.

Zeitgeist and Cleveland-based No Exit New Music Ensemble continue their long-standing collaboration with new works celebrating contemporary surrealism.
Living Sounds: Music of Jin Hi Kim
March 16 • Studio Z
Zeitgeist reunites with long-time collaborator Jin Hi Kim to present an evening of music and ritual to vitalize the mind and center the soul. Includes Kim’s Ritual for the Earth and NORI II.
Early Music Festival 2024
April 19-21 • Studio Z
In partnership with 10th Wave Chamber Music Collective, Zeitgeist’s Early Music Festival will explore the influence of Asian and Asian American music makers on American Experimental Music. Featuring works by Chou Wen-Chung, Yoko Ono, Somei Satoh, Jin Hi Kim, Fred Ho, Toshi Ichiyanagi, Jō Kondō, Bun-Ching Lam, Toru Takamitsu, and Jon Jang.

Zeitgeist Summer Concert Series
Zeitgeist's Summer Concert Series celebrates the great outdoors with performances in backyards, parks, and community spaces throughout the Twin Cities metro area. So, grab a lemonade, pull up a chair, and join us for a new music performance in your neighborhood!

All events are free, but some will require reservations.
